The Moose's Tooth - Ham and Eggs

Join Alpine Endeavors on a 8 day guided trip to the Moose's Tooth.

Ham and Eggs, V, 5.9, AI 4 - is one of THE classic alpine routes in the country. While it offers an easy approach, it provides almost 3000' of great alpine climbing to the 10,300' summit.

Sample Itinerary (subject to change due to weather, etc):

Day 1 - Pack and get groceries and other items in Anchorage
Day 2 - Travel to Talkeetna, fly in to the glacier, and set up camp.
Day 3 - Prep, review skills, possible warm up climb
Day 4 - Climb one of the other smaller peaks in the area:
            Wisdom Tooth, Incisor, Bear's Tooth, etc.
Day 5 - Climb Ham and Eggs - Bivy
Day 6 - Climb Ham and Eggs
Day 7 - Weather day
Day 8 - Pack up and head to Talkeetna

Rates:  Private: $5,895
          Party of two: $3,650 per person

Trip includes: guides, tents, dinners on glacier/climb, ground transport to/from Talkeetna from Anchorage,air taxi from Talkeetna and back, park fees.

Not included: lodging* for climber and guide; all breakfast/lunch/snacks/drinks on the glacier/climb, all off-mountain meals, gratuities, taxes, and any other expenses not memtioned in the "included" section.
* - these items can be paid up front by Alpine Endeavors and billed to you afterward.

We offer our trips with a low climber-to-guide ratios. For technical alpine climbs such as this, we limit the party size to no more than two climbers per guide (2:1), or privately (1:1).These low ratios allow us to move quickly through the terrain giving you the option of climbing objectives that are more involved, both physically and logistically.

Pre-requisites: Climbers for this trip will need to have a solid skill-set of rock, ice and snow skills and will need to provide either a supporting climbing resume, and/or climb some day(s) prior to the trip with one of the guides.
