Ice Climbing Weekend Package

This is for those climbers who not only want to learn the skills, but get the gear needed to ice climb. The ice climbing weekend package includes two days of guided climbing - plus - ice tools, boots, and crampons so you can get out more this season.

Day One - We'll cover everything you need to know to ice climb:
    • Equipment - it's proper usage and care
    • Commands
    • Safety checks
    • Knots
    • Climbing techniques - movement, ice tool placements, crampons
    • Belaying skills
    • Rappelling

Day Two - We'll review the basics from day one and build with more advanced skills such as:
    • Advanced climbing techniques for steep ice or mixed routes
    • Seconding a lead - cleaning the gear, etc.

Gear* you get to take home with you - purchased alone would cost over $1,030.00:

Ice Tools - one pair of:

Crampons - one pair of:

Boots - one pair of:
La Sportiva Trango Extreme

We'll supply any other necessary technical climbing equipment needed - please check out the Gear List specific for you activity for what is actually supplied and what you'll be required to bring.

*Equipment provided is package is provided from Rock and Snow. The package rates are at a special rate of 20% less than retail. All items subject to availability. To be sure we have everything for you, please register early and don't forget to provide your shoe size for the boots at time of registration.
