Intermediate Ice Climbing Skills

If you have ice climbed before, we can help you become more self-reliant by teaching you more skills and improving your climbing ability.

We'll cover review the basics and cover more advanced skills as you would be interested in such as:
    • Advanced climbing techniques for steep ice or mixed routes
    • Seconding a lead - cleaning the gear, etc.
    • Multi-pitch techniques
    • Rope Management
    • Rappelling with a back up
    • Tips to help you stay warm when out climbing
    • Top-rope set ups

We provide instruction locally in the Catskills and Adirondacks, and also during our guided trips to areas like Crawford Notch in the White Mountains of NH - where you can gain the experience while at some different locations.

We supply all the necessary technical climbing equipment needed - please check out the Gear List specific for your activity for what is actually supplied and what you'll be required to bring.
