Smuggler’s Notch VT

Smuggler’s Notch is one of Vermont’s premier areas for ice climbing. Located in the Green Mountains between Stowe and Jeffersonville, VT, it offers single to multi pitch ice and alpine style routes for up to 4 pitches. The alpine routes are similar to those on Mount Washington with less of the approach. 

Rates include your own private guide; loan of any technical equipment; permit fees; and lodging in a bunkhoue or air BnB. Transportation is not included but is possible, please contact us for more info.

Route options over the three days are all dependent on conditions and your climbing experience. 

Rates:

• $995.00 pp/party of two 

• $1295 private

Rates include:

• Guides

• Permit fees

• Lodging - double occupancy, bunkhouse style or air bnb

Rates do not include:

• Ground transportation

• Lodging upgrades

• Meals

• Gratuities

• Any additional expenses in the event of early departure for you and your guide (evac fees, transport, extra hotel nights, etc)

• Trip cancellation insurance

• Any other expenses not listed in the included list
